Picture of a sunset over floridian waters

A compassionate musical companion for anyone learning to breathe again after loss, guilt, or years of feeling "not enough"

About 'The Other Side'

This song follows the emotional arc woven through Torn Wide Open:
the confusion, the guilt, the long years of feeling unseen… and the profound shift that happens when you finally choose yourself.

Its heartbeat comes from the same place as Lori’s writing:

  • the moment you come up for air

  • the moment you stop fighting a war you never deserved

  • the moment you realize you can step forward, stronger than before

There comes a moment when you look ahead, not back,

When you feel strength rising in you that you didn’t realize you had.
When the past softens, even just for a breath, and you step gently onto the other side of the weight you’ve carried.

Let this song be part of that moment for you.
